Wyoming service manager wins GoPro camera in WFCO’s RVDA show drawing

Mike Rone, service and parts manager for Sonny’s RV in Evansville, Wyo., was the winner of a GoPro wearable video camera by participating in WFCO Electronics’ drawing at the 2016 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo in Las Vegas Nov. 7 to 11.

Anyone who came to the WFCO booth during the event and answered a few questions about the company and its products was entered in the drawing. Rone’s winning entry was pulled by Julie Newhouse, marketing manager at RVDA.

The intent of the drawing was to get people to the WFCO booth and “start a conversation about power products and where they are headed, and where they need to be headed,” said Tom Ryan, vice president of sales and marketing for WFCO.

“We are always looking for feedback on our products. We are keenly interested in how well they are working and what dealers and manufacturers want out of them, now and in the future. Our innovations have often been sparked by such conversations, and we take all such comments, good and bad, very seriously. Both the RVDA and the RVIA shows are great places to have those conversations and initiate ongoing communications that are beneficial to industry.”

WFCO will offer another of the popular GoPro cameras in a similar drawing at the National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky., Nov. 29 to Dec.1.
