New WFCO tech support: Converter main board assembly installation video now available

WFCO Electronics has added an instructional video to its website that focuses on using the WFCO WF-8955MBA (Main Board Assembly) to replace the converter in the lower section of the Parallax 7100 power center. This step-by-step tutorial helps technicians with tips and logical steps that will make for speedy, safe and accurate installations. Click here to see the video.

More installation videos and “tools” for the training and support of technicians will continue to be posted under the website’s “Support” tab. “The videos emphasize safety as well as sound, effective procedures that are easy to grasp in this format. Videos are the closest thing to hands-on instruction that we can provide,” said Tom Ryan, WFCO vice president of sales and marketing.

WFCO provides a number of main board assemblies in its 8900 MBA Series as well as converter replacement kits with its 8900 REP universal converters. These products can be used to replace converters or lower sections of power centers that are old, obsolete or defective, and will help customers obtain a WFCO converter section that can provide superior reliability and performance. For example, many older power centers have single-stage converters for maintaining battery power, while WFCO’s advanced three-stage converter design keeps batteries charged even when the RV has been idle for a time.

“We’ve put a big emphasis on building up the ‘Support’ side of our website over the last six months to help give dealers and technicians the right information to do their jobs well,” said Ryan. “This includes instructional videos as well as resources like ‘The Dealer Toolbox’ with our converter cross-reference guide, our troubleshooting charts and torque chart. You can find recent informational e-bulletins that address both OEMs and dealer needs. You can find information about our Power Pros team of experienced experts and how they can help with particular issues. And you can subscribe to our quarterly e-bulletins (click here) and stay up to date with everything that’s going on with WFCO converters, inverters and power centers.”
